Born in Mexico City. Shaped by life across the Americas and Europe. At home in The Hague.
Alex's Austrian, Spanish, Italian and Sephardic Jewish roots form part of an aristocratic heritage connecting some of Europe's oldest noble families with early settlers of the Americas. This history informs his worldview and his interest in the way art carries culture, memory and identity across generations.
His personal love of art deepened through extensive elective coursework at San Diego State University. A career across film, music and international creative business has further shaped his eye for expression and his understanding of the people and ideas behind a work.
At Nom de Guerre, that perspective guides a personal approach to corporate, public and private advisory: attentive to a work's history, its place in the present and its significance to the people who acquire it.
